April 17- Finals for Candidates for Graduation Begin

April 22-Techsan Day.  Classes are dismissed for the afternoon however evening classes continue.

April 24 - Finals for all students begin.

April 27-Final Grades due for Candidates for Graduation.

May 1- End of Semester

May 2- Graduation

May 4-Grades due for all students.  College In-Service for Faculty and Staff therefore some offices may be closed.

May 26-First class day for regular 12 week summer classes.

Important Dates in February

Feb. 6, 2009 - Last day to drop with a refund.

Feb. 13, 2009-Last day to apply for graduation.

Feb. 25, 2009- Mr. and Ms. TSTC Scholarship Competition.

Feb. 27, 2009- Last day to apply for Spring 09 Graduation.

Important Dates in January, 2009

WELCOME BACK!!! 

January 7–Registration and Payment Day.  Remember to have your classes paid for by this date to avoid being Deregistered. 

January 8– Registration, registration changes such as Adds and Drops will be completed at in the CSMT/CSSD faculty offices.

January 9–Registration continues in faculty offices.

January 12–First day of spring 09 classes.

January 19–Staff, Faculty and Student Holiday.  Classes resume January 20, 2009.

Any candidates for graduation for the Spring 09 semester need to begin to see their facutly advisors for an evaluation of thier degree plan.

Nov 2- Don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour!

Nov 7 - Last day to Drop a class with a W.

Nov 11 - Veteran’s Day.

Nov 12 - Graduation Orientation.

Nov 21 - Final Exams for Graduates Begin.

Nov 26 - Final Exams for All Students Begin.

Nov 27-28 - Thanksgiving Holiday

Dec 5 - End of Semester

Dec 23-Jan 2, 2009 TSTC Closed for the Holidays.

Presidential Search Presentations

On Tuesday, Sept. 23 classes will be dismissed for the Presidential Search Presentations after 3:00 in the afternoon. The presentations will start at 3:30 p.m.  You are encouraged to experience this historical event and provide your thoughts and concerns to your student government representative.

Harlingen Campus Re-Opening

Classes will resume on August 4, 2008.  Arrive early as some classes will be relocated to other buildings.  The Admissions, Financial Aid and Business offices have all been relocated to the Field House. Keep checking this or the TSTC main websites for more information.Â

July 24, 2008 - Final Exams for Candidates for Graduation begin.

July 30, 2008- Final Exam Grades for Candidates for Graduation Due.

July 31, 2008- Final Exams for all students begin.

Students can are able registrater for the Fall 08 Semester at this present time.  See your Program Advisor for assistance. �

Important Dates in June

June 13, 2008:  Last day to apply for the summer graduation.Â
Please your advisor as soon as possible.

June 21, 2008:  New Student Roundup. 

June 27, 2008:  Mid-term for the summer courses.�

Important Dates in March

March 17-21, 2008- Spring Break; No classes for students.

March 27, 2008- The Attorney General’s Office will be taking applications for a summer 08 CO-OP. Currently there are 3-4 positions available.  Remember that you must be a 4th semester student and in good standing to apply for these positions.  Applications can be obtained from the Placement Office located in the Student Center Building, Room 140.

March 24, 2008- Registration for Summer 08 courses begin. Make an appointment to see your advisor as soon as possible.

March 28, 2008-Last Day to Drop with a “W”.
